With snow in the forecast and temperatures below freezing, it doesn’t seem right to think about the Boys of Summer but baseball, like warmer weather, will be back and with that, it means the Arkansas Razorbacks will be playing this April at Dickey-Stephens Park.
The game, set for April 26, brings along some extra intrigue as the Hogs will face the University of Central Arkansas in an in-state matchup.
Crazy that just a few years ago, that would have been unthinkable, but the times change, just like the weather.
The game will start at 6 p.m. and tickets will go on sale at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Bleacher and standing room tickets are $15, reserved seats are $20 and box seats are $22.
But there’s a workaround to that. If you buy a full season or mini-plan ticket package with the Arkansas Travelers, you can reserve tickets for the Razorbacks game in advance.
Which is not a bad deal, if you like baseball that is. To buy those tickets, click here and the lowest priced mini-plan, good for six games on the nights the team has fireworks, costs $42.
The game at Dickey-Stephens is not included in the Arkansas baseball season ticket package as that is only for games at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville.
