Maumelle's trio turned into a quartet on Friday as the home-standing Hornets defeated Little Rock Parkview 85-80.
Four players -- Carl Daughtery Jr., Darvis Rasberry Jr., Josh Denton and Nico Davillier -- combined for 79 of Maumelle's 85 points in the win.
Rasberry led the way with 23 points, Daughtery went for 20 while Denton and Davillier both had 18 points each.
Key to the win was free throw shooting, as the Hornets went seven of eight from the line in the final minutes of the game.
North Little Rock boys went to Conway and got the 67-56 win. Guard D.J. Smith had 24 points.
Maumelle Charter got a big home win against Quitman, 61-56, and Central Arkansas Christian girls went to Helena and defeated West Helena, 74-55
