Maumelle is 21-3 overall with losses to Parkview, Bentonville and nationally-ranked North Little Rock.

In that classification, three schools -- Maumelle, Parkview and Jonesboro -- have pulled away with two of the three will be playing for a state title.
Jonesboro is the defending champ, while Maumelle was last season's runner-up.
The No. 1 seed from the 5A-Central wouldn't face Jonesboro until the state championship game while the No. 2 seed from the Central would get the Hurricane in the semifinals.
North Little Rock
The 'Cats have three games left -- at Central tonight with home games against Cabot on Friday and a makeup special against Conway on Saturday.
The Class 6A state tournament starts next week at Little Rock Southwest as both Johnny Rice's and Daryl Fimple's squads will have first round byes.
Rice's team will play at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4 while Fimple's team will either be the No. 1 or No. 2 seed depending on how this week goes.
The No. 2 seed will play at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, while the No. 1 seed wouldn't play until 4 p.m. on Friday, March 4.

Due to the ongoing pandemic and weather concerns, North Little Rock has three regular season games remaining, while Maumelle has two.
For Maumelle, the last home game is tonight when the Hornets host Beebe, and then travel to Little Rock Parkview in the regular season finale.
