Maumelle rolled past Sylvan Hills last Friday and beat Little Rock Parkview, 63-53, at home on Tuesday.
The pair of wins keeps the Hornets undefeated in 5A-Central play with a 5-0 record. Maumelle heads to Jacksonville for another conference game this Friday.
Not far behind are the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs. While CAC is 11-6 overall, the team is riding a nine-game winning streak with the last loss on Nov. 21 to Lisa Academy North.
Also 5-0 in the conference is Baptist Prep and those two teams face each other next Tuesday in west Little Rock.
