Basketball: Maumelle Charter racks up two wins

Coach Josh Sensabaugh and his Maumelle Charter Falcons are now 8-4 on the season after picking up wins on Monday and Tuesday.

All the wins were conference games.

Monday night’s was a big 63-27 win against Marshall.

That was followed by a 52-44 victory against Conway St. Joseph.

On Friday, Maumelle Charter will host South Side Bee Branch in a conference rematch.

The first game went to South Side, 73-70 on Dec. 4. It was Maumelle Charter’s only conference loss.

Maumelle Charter is now 0-8 on the season. They lost to Marshall, 33-21 on Monday, while St. Joseph’s won 50-19 on Tuesday.
