Waste Management, the company that handles trash and recycling pickup in North Little Rock, and most of Pulaski County, announced that starting in April that glass bottles and jars could now be recycled in the rolling bins.
This only applies to those living in North Little Rock and Sherwood as the other areas Waste Management serves are excluded for now.
In a press release, Waste Management said, “Residential customers who live in Little Rock, Maumelle and the unincorporated areas of Pulaski County still must keep glass out of curbside recycling.”
The glass accepted must be clear, brown or green and empty.
