All streaks come to an end and in Central Arkansas Christian's case, it was on Friday night when the Mustangs lost to Lamar, 75-59, in the district tournament championship game at Dover.
CAC is now 21-4 and the team is headed to the regionals where they will face Bald Knob at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22.
The regionals will also be held at Dover High School.
Bald Knob is 21-7 and this is the first time they've faced CAC this season.
There's a handful of common opponents and most notably, both teams easily handled Mayflower.
Maumelle Charter (21-13) also made the regionals as the No. 4 seed from the district and will face No. 1 seed Riverview at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Raiders are 22-1 overall and were 14-0 in district play.
The one loss was on Nov. 17 at Bergman and they're riding a 21-game winning streak.
Both CAC and Maumelle Charter are facing win or go homes as it takes a single victory to qualify for next week's state tournament at Elkins.
The schools are also on the same side of the bracket and the winners of the first round would play at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23.
The championship game is at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday with the third place game at 1:30 p.m.
The other side of the bracket is Lamar/Helena-West Helana and Lisa Academy North/Mayflower.
The 3A state tournament is at Elkins this year and begins on Feb. 27. The bracket can be viewed by clicking here.
As for the other North of the River teams, Maumelle, North Little Rock boys and girls squads have all qualified for the 5A and 6A state tournaments.
The Hornets are no worse then the No. 2 seed from the 5A-Central with one game in the regular season game remaining this Friday at home against Beebe.
Vilonia is currently leading the league but have two games remaining this week on Tuesday and Friday.
The 5A state tournament is at Searcy and for the bracket, click here.
This year the Central is paired with the East.
Both North Little Rock teams are no worse then the No. 3 seed from the 6A-Central and both are still in contention for the conference championship, but to get there, both would need some help.

Seeding is key as the top two seeds from the Central and West both have first-round byes, while the No. 3 seeds don't.
