A new place to connect
As Twitter continues its slide towards a self-inflicted demise, Substack, the email vendor for ArkansasNewsroom.com has launched Notes, that can be accessed on desktop or through the Substack app, that’s currently only available for iPhones.
Both NPR and PBS announced this week that they’ve dropped Twitter from their social media toolkit.
ArkansasNewsroom.com discontinued Twitter use last December and haven’t looked back.
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions. It is an experiment to see how these things go.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Arkansas Newsroom, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Arkansas Newsroom can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
