The Saint Nicholas’ Episcopal Church in Maumelle hosted the annual Saint Francis Blessing of the Animals service at Lake Willastein Park in Maumelle on Oct. 3.

Each pet brought to the event received a certificate of blessing, a St. Francis medal, treats and a collapsible dog bowl.
