The Maumelle Police Department arrested Thanh Dinh, 111 Miramar on Thursday afternoon after a standoff with police.
The department issued a press release that said Dinh had been threatening his neighbor with a rifle and that when police responded to the incident, Dinh then barricaded himself in his home.
"A perimeter was established and negotiators were called to the scene," the release said. "A short time later, Dinh was taken into custody without incident."
He was taken to Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility in Little Rock where he is being held and was charged with: Terroristic Threatening, Aggravated Assault, Fleeing, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying a Weapon.
Neighbors on social media said they had seen Dinh walking around the area with what was described as a rifle.
