North Little Rock: Council to meet Monday

The North Little Rock City Council will have a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday.

The meeting will be conducted virtually and start at 6 p.m.

On the agenda are public hearings on 2021 Annual Action Plan and the Springhill Drive/Smokey Lane Sign Overlay District.

On the consent agenda are several reappointments and garden agreements.

The reappointments are:

  • Tom Brown to the North Little Rock Board of Zoning Adjustment

  • Laura Juels to the North Little Rock Parks & Recreation Commission

  • Kenneth “Buck” Matthews to the North Little Rock Waste Water Treatment Committee

  • Charley Baxter to the North Little Rock Library Commission

  • Ian Hope, Paul Shell, Bert Turner and Diane Whitbey to the North Little Rock Tree Board

The Community Garden License agreements and dollar amounts are:

  • North Little Rock High School, $3,800

  • St. Joseph’s Center of Arkansas, $3,100

  • Bailey Chapel, $2,150

  • North Little Rock Academy, $3,500

  • North Heights Community Center, $460

  • Hays Center Garden Club, $5,000

  • Iris Park Community Garden, $1,300

  • Historic Park Hill Community Garden, $1,500
