North Little Rock: Downtown Tip-Off Club returns in December

The Downtown Tip-Off Club starts with a bang as the Muss Bus makes a stop in North Little Rock on Dec. 17.

Arkansas basketball coach Eris Musselman will jump center and be the Tip-Off Club’s first speaker at the Wyndham Riverfront in North Little Rock.

It, like the other meetings, will start at 11:45 a.m. and the cost for each will be $30 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. High school players of the week will also be honored with the “UAMS Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Award.”

The schedule was announced by the North Little Rock Department of Parks & Recreation and is as follows:

  • Friday, Dec. 17: Eric Musselman, University of Arkansas Men’s Basketball

  • Monday, Jan. 10: Mike Neighbors, University of Arkansas Women’s Basketball

  • Tuesday, Jan.  18: Darrell Walker, UALR Men’s Basketball **

  • Monday, Jan.  24: Joe Foley, UALR Women’s Basketball

  • Monday, Jan.  31: Sidney Moncrief, Former Arkansas Razorback and NBA All-Star

  • Monday, Feb. 7: Corliss Williamson, Former Arkansas Razorback and NBA All-Star

  • Monday, Feb.  14: Dave Van Horn, University of Arkansas Baseball

  • Tuesday, Feb.  22: Johnny Rice and Daryl Fimple, North Little Rock High School **

  • Monday, Feb.  28: Wimp Sanderson, Former Head Coach at Alabama and UALR

** Indicates the luncheon will be held at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce at 100 Main St.
