Lakaisha Shelby was recently named the director of the city of North Little Rock’s Fit2Live Program by Mayor Terry Hartwick.
Shelby has a bachelor’s degree from UALR, and has previously worked for the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services and the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration.
“I am excited about the opportunity to continue developing the North Little Rock Community Gardens Program, Employee Wellness Plan, as well as the overall Fit2Live Initiative in the City of North Little Rock,” Shelby said in a release.
