The cold air is from up north. It won’t be here for long but it has already left a snowy, icy mark.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock showed two inches of measurable snow in north Pulaski County and the very rare “Extreme Cold Warning” was issued for last night and into today.

The main casualty was the Maumelle City Council meeting was postponed on Monday night and pushed to next Monday. No change to the agenda though.
The high school basketball schedule was put into the blender and North of the River school districts and private schools have gone into “Snow Day” mode but people mostly stayed home. Accidents were kept to a minimum as a result.
