Both teams have returned to the court after an approximate break of 40 minutes for the injury of Melbourne’s Layton Hennings.
EMS and volunteer firefighters packaged Hennings for transport and the nearest medical facility is in Batesville.
Melbourne is up 39-24, with 5:50 remaining in the third quarter.

There’s been a significant injury here at Melbourne.
Melbourne’s Layton Hennings went up for a block, landed awkwardly and went down hard.
The game was stopped at the 5:50 mark in the third quarter and fire/EMS have been called but not yet arrived.
It appeared to a lower leg injury and Hennings hasn’t moved since he went down.
Officials have since sent Maumelle Charter and Melbourne to their respective locker rooms as play has been suspended. Unclear on when it will resume.

MELBOURNE -- Melbourne is up 30-22 at the start of the third quarter.
Maumelle Charter’s Jalen Turner leads all scorers with 10 points.
Melbourne has hit four three-pointers in the game to just one for the Falcons.

MELBOURNE -- It was a sloppy quarter of basketball for both teams with turnovers on both sides.
At the first quarter break, Melbourne is up, 14-7, against Maumelle Charter in the first round of the 2A regionals.
Aidan Hudgens, a junior guard, hit a three-pointer, to lead the Falcons in scoring.
MELBOURNE — Maumelle Charter is here tonight for the first round of the 2A regionals.
