Signing Day: North Little Rock, Maumelle have football players ink with colleges

Maumelle and North Little Rock both had five seniors each sign with college programs to continue their football careers on Wednesday.

Half are staying in-state with Maumelle’s Nathan Juhl and Houston Notes headed, respectively, to Arkansas-Monticello and Arkansas Tech in Russellville, while classmate Dashaire Ford-Burton signed with Southern Arkansas in Magnolia.

The North Little Rock duo of Fredrick O’Donald and Jordan Owens will remain teammates in college as both signed with Henderson State University in Arkadelphia.

Headed out-of-state are North Little Rock’s Chris Jefferson, who signed with Dodge City Community College in Kansas, while Kareame Cotton and Jaylon Glosson are headed to Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. 

Maumelle is also sending a pair of players to Iowa Wesleyan in Mount Pleasant, Iowa with Jaylon Smith and Jonathan Reyes.
