After a 17-1 season, Central Arkansas Christian’s basketball team ends the year with four players earning honors for their performance during the season.
Leading the way is senior guard Bethany Dillard, who was named all-state for the third consecutive season and also played on the 2018 state championship team with Christyn Willians, who is now a star at UConn.
Dillard was also all-conference as a freshman, an honor she earned every season she played at CAC. She has signed with Union University, in Jackson, Tennessee, a Division II school with aspirations of moving up to Division I. Dillard was also named to the all-star team for this summer’s all-star games.
Junior guard Ava Knoedl was also named all-state and all-conference. Knoedl was all-state and all-conference last season, and was also all-conference as a freshman.
Sophomore forward Riley Bryant, who recently also scored a 30 on her ACT test, was also named all-conference. Rounding out the quarter was junior Reece Shepard, who was named honorable mention all-conference.
Dillard was the team’s only senior and over the last three years CAC has won 68 games and are poised for more next year.
