North Little Rock's Will Jones, who is running for Prosecuting Attorney for the Sixth Judicial District, recently announced a kick-off fundraiser to be held tonight.
The Sixth Judicial District covers Pulaski and Perry counties and its current office holder, Larry Jegley, is not running for re-election.
The event for Jones, below, will be held at the North Little Rock home of Vincent Insalaco and start at 6 p.m.
There's a minimum contribution of $100 and there's a long list of local notables serving as event sponsors and as the host committee.
Among the many bold-faced names are North Little Rock Mayor Terry Hartwick, Pulaski County Judge Barry Hyde and actor Kyle Pitts, fresh off the set of Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon that’s currently filming in Oklahoma. The movie, based on David Grann’s best-selling book, also stars Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brendan Fraser and Jesse Plemmons.
Jones, formerly of the Arkansas Attorney General's office, has been working as a prosecutor in Jefferson County and is married to North Little Rock Municipal Judge Paula Juels Jones.
For those attending, masks will be required and CDC guidelines will be followed.
