The Travs went 2-4 on the second leg of a two-week road trip to Springfield, Missouri last week.
The road was not kind to the Travs as the team went a combined 4 and 8 in its travels. But hope, and home games, have returned as Tulsa is in town this week but then back to the road for two more weeks with trips to Northwest Arkansas and Tulsa.
Tulsa is currently leading the North Division and the Travs have slipped to fourth in the standings.
The good news keeps coming for Travs pitcher Ian McKinney. After being named the Double-A Central May Pitcher of the Month by Minor League Baseball, he was named the Pitcher of the Week for his efforts this past week.
McKinney is now 3-0 on the season with 50 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched. He also has an ERA of 2.18.
Before joining the Seattle Mariners, he was in the St. Louis organization and played for the Springfield Cardinals, among other teams. He was a fifth round pick by the Cards in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.
Faith and Family night is this Saturday and the game will start at 5:30 p.m. as a result.
Plumb will perform a concert after the game is over and the show is Presented by Chick-fil-A, Higginbotham Investments and Kiko's Kountry RV

Brian O'Keefe climbs to No. 5 in hitting and Jake Scheiner falls to No. 15 as the only Travs in the top 25.
Tyler Herb stays at No. 2 in pitching while Ian McKinney goes to No. 4. Penn Murfee is at No. 24.

Black in his first Triple-A game, drew the start and no decision against Toledo, but then was a relief pitcher in two games against Gwinnett. Black threw a total of 3.2 innings and had four strikeouts.
He also got in some community time and helped with a camp at Northwest Mississippi Community College, where Black started his baseball career before transferring to Arkansas-Monticello.
