A total of 16 graduating seniors at Maumelle Charter High School participated in the school’s Academic Signing Day event on Tuesday, April 27.

Academic signing days are modeled after the events done by high school sports prospects when they ink their letters of intent to play college sports.

In Maumelle Charter’s case, those 16 students are headed from coast-to-coast with seniors choosing schools in California and Massachusetts, and also in Texas, Tennessee, Utah and Missouri, but most are staying in Arkansas for their higher education.
