He will start in the North Little Rock role on Nov. 1.
Derrell Hartwick is a graduate of North Little Rock High School and the University of Arkansas, where he played football for the Razorbacks.
After graduation, he worked for the North Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and then the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce before leaving for Idaho.
He told the Spokane, Washington Journal he became familiar with Coeur d'Alene while on a skiing trip in college and applied after seeing an online posting about the opening.

The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce announced last week that they went with a familiar name, Hartwick, to replace retiring CEO John Owens.
This time though, it is Derrell Hartwick, the son of current North Little Rock Mayor Terry Hartwick and a former CEO of the Chamber as well.
