North Little Rock: New Year. New Mayor. New agenda.
www.arkansasnewsroom.com
North Little Rock Mayor Terry Hartwick starts 2021 off with a clean slate as he will preside over his first City Council meeting since 1988.
In the 32 years and roughly 800 Council meetings since Hartwick last had the gavel, there’s been some changes in North Little Rock. Perhaps the biggest and certainly the most current are the virtual Council sessions and those will continue. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
There’s two ordinances on the agenda, but both are for consideration only.
The first is to reclassify property at 3000 North Hills Boulevard and the other is to allow shipping containers at 6915 Highway 70.
The lone resolution is to allow for liens on properties for grass-cutting expenses.
On the consent agenda are the reappointments of Chris Dunkum to the North Little Rock Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, Charlie Hight to the North Little Rock Advertising & Promotion Commission and Charles R. Hart to the North Little Rock Historic District Commission.
