Applicants are being sought to fill Zone 6 position on the North Little Rock School Board, the district announced.
The former board member, J.T. Zakrzewski has resigned and Zone 6 covers portions of North Little Rock’s Lakewood neighborhood.
To apply, send a letter of intent and resume to the district at colquittr@nlrsd.org by Monday,
May 2 with the deadline being noon that day.
That information can also be dropped off at the district’s administration office at 2400 Willow St.

Candidates will be interviewed and selected at the Thursday, May 5 meeting of the School Board.
The appointed member will serve out the remainder of this year and then will need to be elected to a four-year term in November.
School Board members are unpaid and are required to have annual training as well as submitting financial disclosure forms to the county.
