Work has begun on two QuikTrips in Morgan and Little Rock.
They will be the first QuikTrips in Arkansas and a company spokeswoman said both would be open this “Fall” at 18804 MacArthur Drive, which is just off the Morgan/Maumelle exit if you go to the right. The property had previously been storage for a trucking company but mostly vacant. The other location is at the intersection of Bass Pro Parkway and Otter Creek Road, off of I-30 and near the outlet mall and Bass Pro store.
QuikTrip is a privately-held company that is based in Tulsa, and currently has 863 locations in 11 states -- Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas.
“QuikTrip is excited to have two Remote Store Network Travel Centers in construction in Arkansas and we hope to have more,” said company spokeswoman Aisha Jefferson-Smith.
“Remote Store Network Travel Center” is the largest store QuikTrip operates and for those unfamiliar, think truck stop.
Each location will employ about 25 people and each “will be equipped with QT Kitchens that offer made fresh to order food and drink items,” Smith said.
“QT” as the stores are affectionately known are in expansion mode with other locations planned in Tennessee, Alabama and Louisiana as the company shifts from its traditional Midwest and Plains footprint to the Southeast.

Embrace the new,if you never been to z QuickTrip"Qt".These stores are always ckean and very organized. The people of Little Rock snd all who stop will be pleased.Oh get the pump start card.
Been asking the ones we stop at when I go home to Kansas or Texas when Arkansas will get them . Love love the Iced Coffey . Kum & go would be better if they had the coffey
Just some trivia. In the early to mid '90s, that lot was used for movie actor's trailers and such for a Billy Bob Thornton movie called "Daddy and Them." Herb Butler, who owned Kodiak's CB Shop, across the highway from that lot, said he could see and watch them from his shop. They also used what is now Bobby's as a liquor store in the movie.
We frequent these when we travel to Kansas. The grill is cook to order and the drink selection is second only to Buc-ees. Lots of coffee options! Large clean bathrooms like Kum-n-Go. Wish we had the tax revenue from it!
Hopefully, this will force the other convenience stores at that exit to clean up their acts.
BBQ brisket sandwich but there's no bbq sauce on sandwich anywhere,,
Batting 100% right off the back 👎🤦♂️
I am glad it will have truck parking. When does it open?
Now I won't have to drive 4 hours for Rooster Booster! Very exciting.
Just moved to Little Rock from Texas. Very excited to hear they are coming. Love that store. Hope to see more.
We need a buc-ees

Good trivia! I thought the Blue Barn had been in that vicinity but wasn't sure.
