The new statues of civil rights leader Daisy Bates, below, and singer Johnny Cash are currently on display at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock this week.
The statues are the work of sculptor Benjamin Victor and at the Windgate Center of Art and Design at UALR.
The sculptures will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
Group tours can also be arranged by emailing Amber Crawford at amber.crawford@sos.arkansas.gov.
The statues will eventually make their way to the U.S. Capital and replace the current statues of Uriah Rose and U.S. Sen. James Clarke.
