All tickets must be purchased online and no paper tickets will be sold at the game or match. To buy the tickets, go to http://gofan.co/app/school/AAA and search for the tournament you’re interested in. Tickets are $6 each and are available now for all three days of the tournaments.
Central Arkansas Christian is serving as the host school for the 3A soccer tournaments at Burns Parks. CAC will be playing at Fields 1-4 through the three days of the boys and girls tournaments. It wasn’t clear as of Wednesday afternoon what fields the teams from Maumelle Charter will be assigned to. You should pack some snacks. North Little Rock Parks & Rec said on Wednesday that the concessions at Burns Park were no longer open, but, in a very important update, Jamie Pettit, with Parks & Rec said, in email, “just confirmed there will be a food truck” on Thursday. So lunch is served! This very important point will be updated as needed.
The 5A girls tournament will be held at Siloam Springs and matches will be split between the high school and the Sager Creek Soccer Complex. The complex has three fields and is adjacent to the high school’s campus.
The 6A baseball tournament is hosted by the Fort Smith School District and split between Evan Field and Hunts Park in Fort Smith. North Little Rock’s first game will be at Evan Field.
The 6A girls soccer tournament is hosted by the Springdale School District and will be held at Har-Ber High School in Springdale, which means North Little Rock’s girls team will be there.
All games are, of course, weather permitting and the forecast calls for sunny skies across the state and temperatures in the low to mid 70s, starting on Thursday and continuing through semifinal Saturday.
In a break from years past, all state championships will be played in Benton, instead of the University of Arkansas due to the ongoing pandemic.
