As Christmas presents go, it won’t be the worst one, if you like golf at least.
The Top Golf construction in Little Rock has picked up steam as the company’s logo is now on the building and the facility’s signature netting has been put in place.
A company spokesman said they didn’t have an update on when the building would open but the facility, if the weather cooperates, should be ready mid-December of this year, based on the timelines of previous Top Golfs built across the country.
There’s also the fact that they’re hiring with over a dozen jobs listed here. They range from head of instruction to table bussers. The company said the new facility would have 300 full and part-time employees once it was fully staffed up.
The facility was announced in May 2022 with construction coming that fall just off the Colonel Glenn exit and the address is 5 Topgolf Way
This is the second Top Golf in Arkansas with the first location being in Rogers.
The company has seen a bit of a growth surge as numerous new locations are underway across the region.
Besides the golf, there’s food, drinks and plenty of TVs.
"We are thrilled to be bringing Topgolf to the capital of Arkansas and planning to join this vibrant community," said Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway last year. "As we look to expand the Topgolf experience in the state, Little Rock is the perfect place to do it."
